Micro Credit Program

GVEVSS Started working on SHGs in district Sitapur and Lakhimpur. With following objectives: The main focuss of this programme was as follows.
(Income-generation activity by SHGs groups)

  • To organize the community in groups
  • To develop the habit of regular saving
  • To link the community with banks
  • Provide opportunity to start own income generation activity
  • To improve economic and social status of community
(P.R.I. & S.H.G. Matting villagers) FOR Macro credit
Under micro credit program we have formed 402 SHGs in district Sitapur and Lakhimpur. These groups are formed under scheme of DRDA and NABARD. Through this program our Agency reached with 437500 villagers of 625 villages. These groups received training for management of Accounts, Skill development and Forward and back ward linkages to start their own enterprise. The total savings of these groups are Rs 3,49.432 in different nationalized bank of both the districts. We also encored Banks to provide cash credit limit to our SHGs. presently our 138 groups received this facility. Under this program bank provided loan for Dairy, Masala udhyog and other activity to SHGs.

Health Program

Reproductive Child health program

Our agency organizing regular health camps meals with following objective
(A). To aware the community (especially Pregnant, Lactating and mothers of Children Below to years).
(B). To provide services of Immunization and Health Cheek up at their door step.
(C). c. To bring them closer (Service provider and Community).
During these years we organized 20 Health camps in district sitapur and Lakhimpur with joint coloration with Govt. and other NGOs working in the district. In block honaly Aliya, Parsadi, Khairabad, Biswan, Machharehta, Hargawan ,and nighasan. in these camps free distribution of medicines supported by PHC of block. NGO staff also contacted house for community counseling related to health & nutrition.2250to 3000 people sum thing attending per camps .

during these camps ANM provided Immunization and health Check up to. Pregnant, laetahiy Children .Medicines were also provided tofasget benefic anis free of cost. by Health Department. In these camps Doctors provided necessary information regarding.
Beneficiaries out of which 650 were Female and 519 Male. IEC stalls also organized in these camps to distribute pamlets, posters and books related to Health and Nutrition issues.

Right to information act

Right to information act passed by government of India as a civil right in year 2007 to empower the citizen of India regarding their rights on information or through any these Act any one con knowabanet program / scheme implemented by Government state level to village level. After this law passed nothing is confidential except the issues which affect the security or sovereignty of India. To aware the rural community and other stake holders. We organized 4 workshops at district level with following objectives:-

  • What is right to information act2005?
  • How it will be helpful for citizens of India?
In this one day workshop 125 participates participants from Media, PRI, NGOs, and IEC materials related to this issue. And Villes level 23 camps.

MNREGS

(Mahatam Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act 2006)
Government of India passed an act that is called National Rural Employment Guarantee Act 2006 which ensures100 day employment for every intuitional from a family house hold. Focuses of the act are All Disabled women and man . As an agency dedicated towards social upliftment of disabled. We ensured Government should pay special importance for ensuring participation of disabled in programs to achieve 30% participation.
To identify the need of disabled and sensitize government two days workshop organized at state level and district level. State level workshop organized with joint effort of Gramin Vikas Evam Viklang Sewa Samiti. Districtat Sitapur in Virat Guest house in which 125 participants participated from NGOs, Media, Press and select participants and panchayat level workshop organized from Target beneficiaries.
